Custom Training Products

The custom training products ( Combat and dojo training canes, knives, esgrima sticks and training swords ) used by Torres Sensei and a large majority of his students were produced by Doc Bartlett of Archangel Customs in Victoria. We find these products to be of uncompromising quality, durability, balance and good looks. Doc's products have found themselves in the hands of martial artists across the United States and in Canada.

The following cane styles are made of straight grain hickory for strength and crook styles include but are not limited to; round crook,  pointed crook, duckbill crook. Single, double or triple grips available on shaft.

Various styles of training knives


All training knives are made of 6061-T6 1/4 inch width aluminum with cord wrapped handles. Almost any knife or sword can be reproduced into a trainer. These are great for tournaments where live blades (especially Swords) are not permitted for Kata.
Esgrima sticks are also available in 28 inch length or custom length.
Custom Jo's, Bo's and Shepeards staff's are also also available.
